Summer Oral History Research Fellowship

The Oklahoma Oral History Research Program is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Summer Oral History Research Fellowship, which supports OSU graduate students who are incorporating oral history interviewing and fieldwork in their research. The fellowship includes a $2,500 summer stipend for interviews to be conducted beginning in June of 2026. The recordings and interview materials will become part of the OOHRP oral history collection. Applications will open in February and due early April.

To apply:

• Prepare a project narrative that addresses the project purpose, research plan, timeline, significance, and dissemination plan.
• Complete the fellowship cover letter here.
• Submit requested materials by April 3, 2026 to liboh@okstate.edu with the subject heading "2026 Research Fellow."
