Shelia Kennison

Author of "Psychology of Language" and Editor of "Processing Across Languages"

Shelia M. Kennison is a professor of psychology at Oklahoma State University. She earned her doctorate in psycholinguistics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and psychology from Harvard University. She is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Psychonomic Society. She has authored numerous works including academic journal articles and a textbook on the development of language. Her psycholinguistic research has focused on sentence processing in English as well as a variety of other languages including Arabic, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese and Finnish.
