2024 Construction Updates

First Floor Restrooms Temporarily Closed

Beginning July 8, the restrooms on the first floor are closed for expansion and renovation. There is a men's ADA-accessible restroom located on the fifth floor of the Edmon Low, and additional ADA-accessible restrooms are located in our neighboring buildings. We are eager to expand and improve our facilities. While work was scheduled during the summer to minimize the impact, it will continue into the fall semester due to the scope of the project. We recognize and apologize for the inconvenience this renovation may cause.

Restroom Locations

Library Restrooms
Public restrooms are located on the lower level, 2nd, 4th and 5th floors.

First Floor Closures
Beginning July 8, the restrooms on the first floor are closed for expansion and renovation.

Alternative ADA-Accessible Restrooms

  • Edmon Low Library: There is a men's accessible restroom located on the fifth floor (no door assist button).
  • Engineering South: Both men's and women's accessible restrooms are located on the first floor (no door assist button).
  • Engineering North: Both men's and women's accessible restrooms are located on the first floor.
  • Physical Science: Both men's and women's accessible restrooms are located on the first floor (no door assist button). 
  • Life Science East: There is a men's accessible restroom located on the first floor (no door assist button). There is a women's accessible restroom located on the second floor.

Special Collections and University Archives

The Paul Miller Reading Room inside Special Collections and University Archives is now open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Researchers planning to consult SCUA materials are encouraged to make an appointment by using our contact form or by calling 405-744-6311. 

The new gallery space is still under construction. 

Staff Relocations

All personnel have returned to their normal office spaces.
