Apply for ULRA by March 7

The OSU Undergraduate Library Research Award (ULRA) application deadline is March 7.

Undergraduate students who have completed a research project or paper for an OSU course, program or independent study are encouraged to apply for a chance to win up to $1,500. To apply, students should submit a maximum 500-word essay describing their research process and a final (or near-final) version of the research project along with a faculty recommendation.

ULRA was created to emphasize the importance of not only researching accurately but also understanding the process of developing a topic and research strategy to gather the best information.

Awards will be given in two categories, one for underclassmen and one for upperclassmen. The winner in each category will be awarded $1,500. The winning projects, essays and student profiles will be highlighted on the ULRA website as well as other OSU media.
