OSU Library Celebrates Authors and Creators

Virtual celebration of 45 OSU faculty, staff and students

During the week of March 8, the OSU Library honored 45 OSU faculty, staff and students for the 15th annual Celebrating Books by OSU Authors. The event was virtual this year, and featured video interviews with many of the honorees.

Each year, the Celebrating Books by OSU Authors event highlights OSU employees and students who have authored, co-authored or edited a book or published a major creative work in the past two years.

“Celebrating Books recognizes all forms of creation, from books to art galleries to music recordings,” Bonnie Cain-Wood, manager of Communications Services for the OSU Library, said. “Even though we were unable to have the in-person luncheon this year, we are glad we still had the opportunity to celebrate the hard work of our authors and creators.”

Many of the works by this year’s honorees have been added to the OSU Library’s collection.

This year’s authors include
