Library Hours Update

Beginning fall 2025, the Edmon Low Library building will close at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday. The weekend closing time of 10 p.m. will remain unchanged, and 24/7 access for Pre-Finals and Finals Weeks will continue. 

After consultation with students, the closing time of 12:30 a.m. was chosen to minimize disruptions for students working on exams, quizzes or assignments with the common midnight deadline.

The decision to decrease the hours of operation was a financial one. As the campus faces a 5% budget cut, Library leadership has worked to find financially impactful cuts that would have minimal impact on service to our users. The small reduction in hours will result in $21,000 in savings.
